ProsSafe FVS318V2.4 Case Study

ProSafe FVS318v24 using ProSafe VPN Client 10.3.5
(Static IP Router and Dynamic IP Client)
This is primary tested with FVS318 V2.4 and work from multiple remote access with this setting

ProSafe FVS318 using IPSecuritas 2.1 (Static IP and Dynamic IP)
This is primary tested with FVS318 V2.4

Mac making connection to Xserve (Samba). Able to access your server with VNC, share files and server monitor etc. Not tested wtih Windows Base PC.

ProSafe FVS318v3 using FVS318.v24 (Dynamic IP and Static IP)

This case study is using FVS318v3 (3.0_16 frimware). Based on this study, using FQDN-dyndns.org
wasn’t able to make connection from FVS318v24. Only way is to use static to static tunnel ONLY.

ProSafe FVS318v24 using FVX538 behind Router (Static IP and Dynamic IP)

FVX538 <->FVS318 <internet>FVS318V24

I used this setup while I was testing the unit. Server was located behind FVS318V24. This was double NAT on FVX538 side and VPN tunnel was made but only one way communications. You can access the server but pinging from FVS318 wasn't possible since firewall block on FVX538. Just a intersting setup
